HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI TERHADAP PROFESI GURU DENGAN KEMAMPUAN MENGAJAR GURU SMA ANGKASA LANUD SUWONDO MEDAN

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of the teacher profession and teaching behavior. Subjects in this study were the teachers who teach at the High School of Angkasa Lanud Suwondo Medan with the number of 40 people. This study used the sample used. Based on data analysis using Correlation-Product Moment, the results obtained that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of the teacher profession with teaching behavior, where rxy = 0.418; p <0.010. Teacher's behavior is influenced by perceptions of the profession of teachers of 17.5%, the rest there are 82.5%, other factors that are not examined in this study. The teachers at SMA Lanud Suwondo Angkasa Medan have a very positive perception of teacher profession, then the teachers are stated to have teaching behavior that is quite enough Keywords: Perceptions of teacher profession and teaching behavior
