KONSEP DIRI PENDERITA SKIZOFRENIA SETELAH REHABILITASI

Abstract

This study aims to know on how schizophrenic patients self-concept after rehabilitation. Researchers looked at people's knowledge of the schizophrenic patients is still low, it caused public appraisal of schizophrenics always negative, thus affecting the assessment of the patient himself and his environment. This research, using qualitative methods to obtain data on Schizophrenia Patients Self Concept After Rehabilitation. This study uses two respondents (a female and a male)  with  the characteristics of the respondent schizophrenic after rehabilitation. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. The both schizophrenia respondent were caused diathesis stress and due to family pathological behavior, also the genetic factor in the respondents II. The study concluded that the both respondents self concept tend to be positive. Self-concept affects both the respondent besides Rehabilitation program conducted also for their family  and community support so that both respondents feel acepted in family and society and trying to make his life better.
