IESM (Industrial Engineering System and Management Journal) is a scientific journal published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Potensi Utama, Medan. This journal focuses on research and development in the fields of industrial engineering and industrial system management, covering both theoretical and applied studies that are relevant to modern industrial challenges.

Aims & Scope

IESM aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate the latest research findings in the following areas:

Editorial and Peer Review Process

  • Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial board to ensure alignment with the journal’s scope and quality standards.

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed under a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.

  • Independent reviewers and editors provide critical feedback to improve the quality of the manuscripts.

  • The final decision to accept, revise, or reject a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on the reviewers’ recommendations.

Publication Ethics

IESM upholds high standards of publication ethics, which include:

  • Originality of the submitted work and avoidance of plagiarism

  • Transparency in declaring sources of research funding (if any)

  • Disclosure of conflicts of interest

  • Appropriate handling of corrections, retractions, or clarifications when necessary

Language and Format
