PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The Editor first reviews submitted articles, conducting an initial editorial review. This includes an administrative assessment of whether the article aligns with the focus and scope of the PIR Journal, checking the similarity percentage/score using Turnitin, evaluating article and image readability, and ensuring compliance with the journal’s format/template.

Next, the article is sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double-Blind Peer Review).
The reviewers’ comments are then forwarded to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses. After revisions are made, the editorial board meeting will provide a final recommendation regarding the revised article.
The final decision will then be communicated to the author by the Editor.

Accepted articles will proceed to the copyediting and layout editing phase before publication.
