Web-Based Teacher Attendance Application Design Using RFID card On Pelita Bulu China PrivateHigh School

Abstract

Teachers as the main actors in the implementation of educational programs in schools play a very important role in achieving the expected learning objectives. In this case, the teacher is seen as a determining factor in achieving the quality of student discipline. Students perceive each teacher's behavior directly and indirectly. For this reason, teachers must always show a good self-image, reflected in discipline and punctuality in attendance, so that they become good role models for students. In this study, teacher attendance data collection is an important factor in monitoring teacher disciplinary values, where teachers carry out their functions as role models for students. In addition, information about teacher attendance certainly also influences teacher quality and the income they receive, therefore a system is needed to record teacher attendance. This is based onseveral problems and deficiencies identified in the attendance system which are usually done manually. In termsof infrastructure, such an attendance process uses a lot of paper. To overcome these problems, this research creates a web-based tool and application to facilitate teacher visits at Pelita Bulu China Private High School.
