Learning Media Based on Problem Based Learning to Increase Students' Interest in Learning

Authors

Abstract

This research aims to: 1). Knowing the level of validity, effectiveness and practicality of learning tools developed using the problem based learning model. 2). Knowing the increase in student interest in learning after using Learning Tools with a problem based learning model. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) research. This development research refers to the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan (1974), namely define, design, develop, disseminate. However, in this research, research on the development of learning tools based on problem based learning was modified into 3-D which was limited to the develop stage. Based on the validator's assessment, an average result of 4.2 was obtained in the valid category. The results of the student response questionnaire to PBL-based learning tools showed that the average score was 81.67% and was in the "strong" criteria. This shows that the PBL-based learning tools developed by the author meet practical criteria.
